Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has collaborated with the Department of Defense (DOD) to seamlessly transition the health care of Veterans returning from Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

Currently enrolled Veterans and new enrollees who were discharged from active duty on or after January 28, 2003 are eligible for enhanced benefits for five years post discharge.   Read more >>
